Purchase Order Terms and Conditions

  1. Advanced Bellows shall communicate to external providers its requirement for:
    1. The processes, products, and services to be provided including the identification of relevant technical data (e.g., specifications, drawings, process requirements, work instructions);
  2. Final approval of:
    1. Product and services.
    2. Methods, Processes, and Equipment.
    3. Release products and services.
  3. Competence, including any required qualification of personnel.
  4. The external provider interaction with Advanced Bellows.
  5. Control and monitoring of the external provider’s performance to be applied by Advanced Bellows.
  6. Verification or validation activities that Advanced Bellows or its customers intends to perform at the external provider’s premises.
  7. Design and development control.
  8. Special requirements, critical items or key characteristics.
  9. Test, inspection verification (including production process verification)
  10. Advanced Bellows, Inc. reserves the right to approve or specify any designs, tests, inspection plans, verifications, use of statistical techniques for product acceptance.
  11. Advanced Bellows, Inc. reserves the right to review and approve the Suppliers Quality Management System. Standard QMS requirements include:
    1. Suppliers providing special processing must maintain a system for validating processes similar to that of a NADCAP program, or other system as required by this purchase order.
    2. Customer directed sources must operate in accordance with approved specifications and standards as dictated and controlled by the customer in question.
    3. Suppliers initially approved for use via Certification (ISO, AS9100, ISO 17025, AS9120, etc.) must notify our organization of any changes to that certification.
  12. Suppliers shall maintain the proper identification and revision status specifications, drawings, process requirements, inspection/verification instructions and other relevant technical data.
  13. Advanced Bellows, Inc. reserves the right to designate requirements for test specimens for design approval, inspection/verification, investigation or auditing.
  14. Suppliers are required to:
    1. Implement and maintain a quality management system.
    2. Use customer-designated or approved external providers, including process sources (e.g., special processes);
    3. Notify Advanced Bellows, Inc. of nonconforming product, processes, or services and obtain approval for their disposition.
    4. Prevent the use of counterfeit parts / Material.
    5. Notify Advanced Bellows, Inc. of changes in processes, services, including changes of their external providers or location of manufacturing facility location, and obtain Advanced Bellows approval.
    6. Flow down to the supply chain, the applicable requirements, including customer requirements.
    7. Provide test specimens for design approval, inspection/verification, investigation, or auditing.
    8. Supplier are required to retain all records associated with the purchase order as required by contract. Where retention time is not indicated, Supplier is to retain records a minimum of ten (10) years
  15. Suppliers are required to ensure that persons under their supervision are aware of:
    1. Their contribution to product and/or service conformity.
    2. Their contribution to product safety.
    3. The importance of ethical behavior.
  16. Advanced Bellows, Inc. reserves the right of access by our representatives, our customers, and any regulatory authorities to the applicable areas of all facilities, at any level of the supply chain, involved in the order and to all applicable records.
  17. Suppliers providing calibration services must be certified to ISO17025 (or equivalent). All calibration certificates must identify standards used and must be traceable to NIST (National Institute of Standards Technology).
  18. Any deviations from these Terms and Conditions must be approved, in writing, from Advanced Bellows, Inc.
